Who can do the Ketogenic diet?
Any healthy adult can do the Ketogenic diet. However, always consult a health professional before starting a diet change, especially pregnant and lactating women, people who take medications, or those with a health problem.
What should I do if I feel some illness such as Keto Flu?
This is normal and many people go through it. We recommend that you consume more liquids such as mineral water and try to balance your electrolytes naturally, without carbohydrates. As always, consult your doctor if you have any questions.
What should I do if I feel some discomfort such as Keto Rash?
The Keto Rash is a very uncommon symptom where some parts of the body such as the neck, back, and abdomen have a mild rash. There are several theories, but it is believed that it is a result of the sweat when you are in ketosis. We recommend limiting sweating, using comfortable clothing, showering after doing exercise, or anything that decreases sweat during the first few days. If this does not help you feel better, stop doing the Keto Challenge and switch to a VIVRI Challenge, VIVRI Intermittent Fasting Challenge, Wholefoods Challenge, etc.
How do I end the Keto diet?
To leave the KETO Plan, we recommend doing it with a VIVRI Challenge, since you’ll be able to adapt your body to a complete diet which you can always maintain, with the VIVRI Essential Nutrition’s balance of fats, carbohydrates and proteins.
For how long can I maintain a state of ketosis?
When beginning a Ketogenic diet, a periodo of 5 to 7 days is required to enter into a state of ketosis. Staying in it will depend on the results you are hoping for. The recommendation is to maintain a Ketogenic diet for around 20 days to reduce the glucose in your blood and the fat accumulated in the body. You can also alternate between the Keto Challenge Meal Shake and the VIVRI Challenge for periods of 20 days.
Can I do exercise while on the Ketogenic diet?
If you are a beginner, it is recommended that you do low-intensity activities, such as walking, recreational biking, or light swimming. Listen to your body, it will be your guideline.
What should I do if I begin the KETO lifestyle and I feel digestive discomfort?
If this happens, it is normal and will probably only be for a couple of days. Continue with the Keto Meal Shake Challenge as normal. Also, during the first 3 days, you could prepare your Keto Meal Shake in the morning and afternoon with half a portion. That way, your body will get used to the Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) and you will be able to consume the full portion on the fourth day. If for some reason you don’t feel comfortable after the fourth day, we recommend moving on to a VIVRI Challenge, VIVRI Intermittent Fasting Challenge, Wholefoods Challenge, etc.
