Suitable for the VIVRI Challenge
Ingredients
4 cups sliced mushrooms
3 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 seed-free guajillo chili, crushed or dried, to taste
1 tbsp unsalted butter or coconut oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Tortillas or toast optional
Preparation
Open the chili and take out the seeds. Cut into thin strips with a knife or scissors.
Melt the butter in a skillet, add the chopped garlic and cook for a few seconds.
Add the sliced mushrooms and guajillo chili in strips.
Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are softened. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve how you prefer; with toast, as a side dish, etc.
